Tannjent is looking for a young talented SEO Specialist to join our fast paced, energetic team. The primary job function is to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities.

You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities

SEO Campaign Setup and Management
• Formulate a campaign strategy and Manage clients

Keyword Research
• Client info pack/ brief as guide
• Research industry and competitors online
• Use Uber Suggest, Google Keyword Planner, SEO Screaming Frog, Market Samurai and other tools to find out what keywords competitors are using and do clients research
• Webmaster tools to see what keywords they are already performing for
• Google trends to check for popularity of keywords historical data and to date
• Compare the popularity of search terms over time
• Once done finalising keywords find synonyms or keyword that relate to the keywords selected for campaign
• Check keyword performance monthly and change keywords every three months if not performing or improving

SEO Audit
• Keyword Rank analysis on google.ZA and Bing and Google.com
• Link Analysis backlinks compared to competitors with tools like Majestic SEO ,Open Site Explorer and more. Check anchor text profile of website
• Landing page analysis
• On page elements
• Call to actions
• Target keywords placements Headings, Title and Description
• Technical Diagnostics using Google developers tools,Webmaster tools, Raven tool, Hubspot, Moz and WooRank, AWR more
• Crawlability of site
• Site speed
• Site errors
• Any other problems that might affect the website’s performance
• Content Analysis
• Visual Elements of the page
• Landing and Conversion page analysis
• UX review
• Using heat map tools such as Clicktale and Google In Page Analytics Extension

Link Building and Content Marketing
• Directory submissions
• Social Bookmarking
• Article Syndication
• Blogging (TRN)
• Syncing Social media activities
• Social Media
Adwords Campaign Management
• Knowledge of Adwords and GDN platforms are advantageous

Requirements
• Proven SEO experience
• Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
• Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
